An intermediate-level course designed to produce compliance with National Occupational Standards for all staff working in the industry; be that from initial production of food to the eventual distribution. Delegates will gain an essential understanding of food safety, in areas such as temperature control and the handling and storage of different food types. They will be confident in fulfilling their responsibility to provide consumers with safe, high-quality food.
Our food safety level 2 course is an intermediate programme designed for anyone working with food, from production to distribution. Delegates can choose a pathway to support their specific role; these pathways are Catering, Retail, Logistics and Manufacturing, and the training is suitable for the following roles:
This course lasts 6 hours (1 day); delegates will be awarded a certificate upon completion of a multiple-choice exam. HABC accreditation is also available upon request.
